Swan, Drake and Collins Classics
I still enjoy using some of the older classics. Here is an absolutely pristine Collins S-Line (RE) and a very late
Drake C-line. Both were purchased from my friend K8DR. (Where does he find these mint radios?) The
"white faced" Swan 350 was the first SSB radio I owned (1964).
I occasionally run AM. The classic Viking Ranger and 75A4 (sn 5051) do a great job. I usually mate the Ranger with
my 3CX1500D7 to get a KW on AM. And yes, I do remove the blue cover on the Ranger when used.
